Dear Creature Comforts family,
With a heavy heart, I write to inform you that Creature Comforts Pet Resorts will be closing both locations. We have been honored to love and care for your pets when you needed to be away from home. After our temporary closing due to the COVID19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors permanently.
My amazing team and I want to thank you for your trust, loyalty, and ongoing support. It has been our absolute pleasure to know you and your pets, and we wish you the very best as you seek a new home away from home for your four-legged family members.
To assist in your search, we recommend you check with your veterinarian and other pet parents for referrals, and then do your own research by reading online reviews and using the checklist below to help you find a place you can trust to provide the best care for your pets.
CAREGIVERS
We hope this list helps you qualify new pet care providers so you can leave knowing your pets are having a ball in a clean and safe environment. We will miss you and wish you the very best now and for years to come.
Sincerely,
Beth O’Neill and your friends at Creature Comforts Pet Resorts

CAREGIVERS
- Does your selected caregiver receive ongoing professional training by experts in pet wellness, behavior, and handling, including Pet First Aid and CPR training?
- Can the caregiver ensure that your pet will be taken care of in case something unexpected happens, such as a caregiver or pet sitter getting sick?
- Does the caregiver offer safe and enriching activities for pets, such as individual or group playtimes?
- Is the environment clean, sanitary, and well organized, free of debris and clutter, or anything that could be harmful to a pet?
- Does the environment offer comfortable, safe, and secure areas for sleeping, playtimes, and exercise?
- If there will be other dogs around, is there a safe staff-to-pet-ratio with dogs separated based on individual temperament and playstyle?
- Will your pet only be around other pets who are appropriately vaccinated, based on leading veterinarian recommendations?
- Do you feel welcome to tour the entire environment and observe how other pets interact with the caregiver(s)?
- Will your pet receive continuous monitoring, loving care, and attention all day, every day, instead of being lonely and bored while you’re away?
We hope this list helps you qualify new pet care providers so you can leave knowing your pets are having a ball in a clean and safe environment. We will miss you and wish you the very best now and for years to come.
Sincerely,
Beth O’Neill and your friends at Creature Comforts Pet Resorts
